1990 Comanche is up for sale
Specs:
1990 Comanche Eliminator (Shortbox)
4.0L with the newer cherokee cooling system (Radiator has pressure cap)
21 spline AW4 (Swapped in by me)
NP242 transfercase - Swapped in by me so that the truck could be driven in 4wd fulltime in the winter.
Rubicon tires and rims - tires have pretty good tread on them, rims have trail rash
8.8 disc brake rear and non disconnect D30 with 4.10 gears
CD player and amplifier - has some wiring issues at the fusebox, so it doesn't always work.
Bedliner and bed storage box.
Bike/Kayak rack in bed
New floor pans were put in last year and herculined before reinstalling carpet, but like most comanche/cherokees there is still a lot of rust.
New cab corners were put in last year.
Surface rust - yup, lots of it.
The bad stuff:
Brake fluid leak caused some damage to the fuse panel. As a result there have been some electrical issues.
CPS connector is goofy - every month or so the truck won't start. Unplugging and replugging the CPS fixes the problem. I could just solder the wires and eliminate the issue.
Bed - if there is a straight spot on it, I can't find it.
There are a lot of pictures here of the truck and the things that have been done to it. We've owned it for almost 2 years, put a fair amount of work into it and it has been a good truck.
