    The appleton park is ok...nothing too exciting...half the time the area is flooded and closed..
    Ive been there a few times riding my atvs...it gets boring after 2 hrs...

    The trails there are a lot more challenging with snow on the ground. We had a spring convention there a few years ago the day after a blizzard hit the area, made for some very interesting wheeling.

    The mixed use side is crowded with trails intersecting all over the place. Try the other side of the road which is trucks-only. The Trail Geeks (and others) have done much to help improve this side of the park.
